Mahmut Can YAĞMURDUR

I was born in Mersin in 1967. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Mersin, I started my medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1984.

I graduated in 1991. Between 1991-1997, I won the General Surgery Specialization and worked in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery.

After my specialization, I worked in various private hospitals between 1997-1999. After working as a specialist in the Department of General Surgery at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in 2000-2003 and as an assistant professor between 2003-2006, I became an associate professor in 2006. I left this job in 2011 and started working in a private health institution. I served at Lokman Hekim Ankara Hospital in 2013-2015. Between September 2015 and October 2017, I worked as a faculty member at the Caucasus University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery.

Domestic associations and organizations that I am a member of are Ankara Medical Chamber, Turkish Surgery Association, Ankara Breast Diseases Association, and international associations are American Society of Breast Disease, Middle East Society of Organ Transplantation.

I have articles published in 50 foreign and 20 domestic journals, 1 translation and 2 book chapters; I have authorship. These works have been cited in 657 foreign publications in total.

I am interested in Classical Western music and Classical Turkish Music. I am still a member of the board of the Mevlana Culture and Art Association. I have studies on History and Philosophy.
